Treatment with Kybella at The Advanced Skin & Vein Care Centers is customized to address each patient’s unique aesthetic goals for an improved chin profile. Typically, two to four treatments, approximately one month apart, are needed to achieve the ideal result.

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable drug that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness due to submental fat (often referred to as a “double chin”).
A double chin can be the result of genetics, weight gain or aging and is generally resistant to diet and exercise. Now you can lose the double chin with Kybella, a non-surgical injectable treatment performed in our med spa.
Kybella contains a non-human, non-animal formulation of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected under the chin, the deoxycholic acid breaks down the unwanted fat. Once those fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer continue to accumulate or store fat.
Administered by our expert providers using injections into the fat under the chin, each in-office treatment session typically takes 15-20 minutes. Many patients experience visible results with two to four treatments spaced at least one month apart. Up to a total of six Kybella treatments may be administered. For most patients, downtime following a treatment session with Kybella is minimal.
Once the desired aesthetic outcome from Kybella treatment has been achieved, the need for Kybella re-treatment is not expected, as Kybella causes the lasting destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat.

Mesotherapy
The world's most popular non-surgical cellulite removal treatments. Not only does this injection-based treatment even the skin tone, but it actually affects fat deposits by breaking down the connective bonds of adipose fat cells and naturally flushing them out of the body. As a result, patients can erase cellulite and bring back the smoothness to their legs, hips, thighs, arms, abdomens, and even the area under the chin! Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that rarely takes longer than 15 to 30 minutes to complete. During a treatment, the mesoderm, or middle layer of the skin, is stimulated through injections of a special combination of vitamins, minerals, traditional pharmaceuticals, and homeopathic medicines. The concentration of these ingredients depends on the practice and the patient's individual case, and a series of treatments is required to achieve the best results. The exact number of treatments can range from 4 to 15, depending on the size and complexity of the area being treated, and are typically spaced out over 1 to 2 week intervals.Because Mesotherapy injections directly reach the target areas of the body, it takes only a small amount of medication to bring about instantly noticeable results. Plus, patients are able to avoid many of the side effects that often accompany orally administered medications or more dangerous, surgical procedures. After many years of success in Europe and South America, it is easy to see why Mesotherapy has now taken off in America (this not FDA approved treatment). While primarily utilized as a safe alternative to liposuction, it has also been proven effective in treating arthritis and muscle spasms. Some clinics even uses Mesotherapy for precise jobs like eyelid surgery and face-lift procedures, which they call Meso-lifts.
